``Before this, my wife was my best friend. But now we don’t understand each other.”

We are proud that many of our GriefChat partners campaign for better awareness of grief, loss and bereavement.

Through increasing access to bereavement support, we hope that GriefChat is able to support an increased conversation around grief in our society and help to break down the barriers that stop people talking about death and loss.

We hope to empower grieving people in understanding that it is a sign of strength, not weakness, to ask for help and to enable people to access further bereavement care services when appropriate. At GriefChat we believe that by helping people to recognise and normalise their feelings around loss, it can further help them to make sense of their own grief journey.
